Enormous fun concrete slide under a shady tree - take a large piece of cardboard or door mat to slide down on. Restrooms under tunnel next to rose garden. Brook to paddle in. Take scooters!
What's not like? The concrete slide is a unique all ages throw back. Take a stroll in the Rose Garden across the street after you and the kids get winded.
Bring a picnic! This park has lots of picnic tables and nice grassy spots for picnics.

The duck soup here is incredible, and the sword fish and the tagliatelle with beef and pork ragu were awesome too.
One of the best italian restaurants in my book! Try tagliatelle al sugo with a special house recepie passed down from the grandma generation. Extra fun if you get a bar seat next open kitchen!
I may have to come and try this place again. 4 of us went out for a full meal and drinks and the only memorable thing was the cocktails

Excellent grocery store. The bagel selection is great, same with the vast selection of bottled teas and juices. The produce and meat are fresh and ethically sourced.

What's good here? EVERYTHING! This is one of my all time favorites in the East Bay. Try the Zucchini Ribbon Salad, any of the pizzas, whole spaghetti with pesto reduction sauce, etc., etc.
