This historical monument at the center of Berlin was built to commemorate the Prussian victory in the Danish-Prussian War. Go to the observatory for amazing city views. Opens at 9:30am.
Especially in the evening it has a unique atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Breathtaking giant room with strange atmosphere !
It's worth going to Neue Wache when it rains. The Kaethe Kollwitz sculpture is incredibly beautifully covered with raindrops and the stone shines, making the impression even more touching.
Powerful monument. Best to go there when it snows as the sculpture is covered with white and the view is even more powerful

The Berlin Wall East Side Gallery showcases the work of 106 international artists on a 1.3km section of the original wall. A world symbol of freedom, it’s also the world’s biggest open-air gallery.
Although today is just a small wall, it was a symbol of an entire era that finished.
Lovely series of areas inside residential building. Very nice shops, cafes, places to eat. Cinema and some other hip places nearby.

The church is quite interesting to see. Make sure you come early to see the new one, some afternoons they have concerts. Lovely neighborhood!
This protestant church is a great piece of history where you'll see reminders of the war. Do not miss the Memorial Hall at the church's west tower to see some exhibits about the church's history.
