Spicy lobster miso soup - try it. So good! The sushi too.
Lunch "platter" with spicey tuna roll, sushi and sashimi. Very visually appealing. Tasty little bowl of Lobster Miso Soup, and a crisp Sancerre. Lovely Hannah, the bartender made it very pleasant.

Everything was either too sweet (seaweed salad, rice based rolls) or too salty (miso soup). Was disappointed

Great sushi tucked away in a cellphone store/mini mall. The sashimi is always very fresh. Order with confidence!

The king crab tempura rolls were to die for. Spicy salmon was delicious, though could be spicier.
Weirdest sushi ever tried. But they are absolutely unique and special. As recommended by many, try Volcano Sushi. We also try Doomsday Sushi. 2 person can't finish these.
The bento lunch specials are a great deal: entree, rice, salad, miso soup, 2 dumplings, 2 cali maki pcs, and fruit. Only $8-9. So much food!

We had four maki rolls and every one was unique and amazing! We sat at the sushi bar and the chefs were so nice. Try the volcano, broadway, wild fire, and coco shrimp rolls!

Every time I'm at Moko I'm happy. It's a great environment, lovely staff, food is excellent and fair prices. I'd go three times a week if I lived in Southie.
Regardless of seat choice, you'll be happy and well served. The hidden gem is the wine and unique beer selection in the back. Stephen only stocks good stuff and he strives for value. A+

The Sweet potato tempura maki is beautiful. The chicken ramen is huge but so tasty. Excellent service. Bijou and authentic.

Oishii has the most creative sushi in town - try the Kobe beef with pear or steamed lobster with cucumber and avocado. And it's tricky to find - look for two swimming fish etched into the front door.
Try the gourmet bar snacks from 5:30–6:30 PM and 10–11:30 PM Tuesdays through Saturdays (and 5:30–9:45 PM on Sundays). Small bites like risotto and Kobe sliders are only $6.
Try the "white tiger" maki. It practically melts in your mouth.
Don't get the miso soup or the chicken curry. Both were horrible. Never coming back. Also, terrible service! Terrible experience.
Must try pumpkin curry! lemongrass beef is my all time favorite! And of course the boba tea!

plain yogurt soju is the BEST!maybe add some more chamisul fresh to make it stronger but better! :D
Order the watermelon soju! It comes in a real watermelon!! It tastes like pure watermelon juice! Can't taste the soju at all :)
