Dusty Springfield: KCBC Snackin’ Kraken Fruited Sour / Dry Aged Red Hook Tavern Burger (American cheese, white onion, frites)
F. Bastard: Strikingly friendly and cheerful service. The burger’s as good as everyone says it is. I still don’t get serious chef’s devotion to American cheese. Wish RHT offered an alternative.
Alyssa B.: The Dry Aged Burger ($28) when ordered Medium has deep flavors of umami, peppery w/ subtle sweetness from the meat itself & white onion, w/ creamy melted American cheese. Bun holds well. Worth trying!

Jeffrey: Extremely loud but still the best bar burger in town. Take it the way it comes: two square patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, mustard, mayo, and no ketchup.
Claire J Song: Double Cheeseburger, $12 The house style is a relentlessly drippy double fashioned from two well-browned three-ounce patties fully accessorized with lettuce, tomato, American cheese, pickle, onion.
Drinkopoly: Billiards, shuffle board, great food and excellent drinks! What else could you want in a neighborhood bar? Nothing else besides Drinkopoly!

Jeffrey: From French’s Fried Onions to Mama Lil’s Pickled Peppers. For breakfast, get egg on a roll with Cabot Cheddar and Burger’s Smokehouse bacon, or American cheese and the Taylor Pork Roll.
Nicky Petroni: Words cannot express how much I love having this place in the neighborhood. Some of the best, well thought out sandwiches in NYC. I can honestly say everything on the menu is amazing
Serious Eats: Market with some excellent sandwiches, many of which are regional American varieties rare in New York.

Jon Yuson: Hamburger with American Cheese
Meg Lewis: Gorgeous zen-like backyard complete with live turtles and fish. Grab a craft beer, friends, and relax!
Michael Kinney: Great place, except for the red-bearded jerk behind the bar who basically told us to quiet down because we were "the loudest ones in the bar". DUDE IT'S A BAR, NOT A LIBRARY. We immediately left.

Andrew Weiser: Gotta go with Le Big Matt, the beef is fresh and comes as a double stack with white American cheese, pickles, and lettuce, on a pretzel bun.
Mike Waterhouse: This place offers a NY pizza experience like no other. The deep dish-style crust is baked to perfection w/ a crispy outside & soft center. Each 6-slice pizza serves 1.5 people. Save room for dessert!
Eater: The pizzas are baked in pans and resemble Sicilian-style pies. Options include the Deluxe (sauce, mozzarella, sausage, peppers, mushrooms) and the Lou-Wow (sauce, mozzarella, spicy pineapple, ham). Read more.
Ian Tabolt: Great deli. Friendly staff, very clean, nice craft beer selection, cappuccinos and other coffee drinks, and good sandwiches - my personal favorite is the "bona fide icon".
Nick Cohen: Good egg sandwiches and beer selection (not to be combined)
Summer Min: My favorite sandwich is the honey club!
