Don't be discouraged by the long lines -- they move quickly and the staff is always pleasant. Where else can you buy yummy soy chorizo in a beautiful old bank with soaring ceilings and huge windows?

Brooklyn Heights outpost of OG boat Grand Banks. Same short menu but different city views. Good for sunset bites and overall posh vibes. Portions are very small.
Pilot is not just a restaurant but a museum of history. Sea food was ultra fresh, view and service excellent and drinks meant business. Loved it 💕

Great place for groups, incredible beer selection. If you're coming from Manhattan, getting there is suprisingly easy too.
Worth the trip out towards Gowanus to check out this new brewery. Fantastic selection of rare and unique beers plus their own stock is great. Try the sour beer with some BBQ!

Book in advance to get the best rate, very close to NYC, but don't over look Brooklyn with wonderful quaint restaurants and shopping cobb hill, park slop, brooklyn heights

The staff here are super friendly and helpful - they're happy to make recommendations and I've never had a miss w/one. Love the $12 and under table and the free wine tastings & classes. Great shop.
I'm no connoisseur (tend to pick wine by the design on the label), but it seems like they keep the cheaper stuff on a table in the middle, and in general have a great selection.
