Got the dan dan noodles, fried pork buns, fried fish filets, and twice cooked porks. All the food was delicious, though pork was a bit over salted.

Loved the cubano, very flavorful with nice thick slices of pork. Enjoyed the side salad, simple but tasty. We sat at the bar, bartender was friendly and service good. Nice selection of beers.
The pot pie is delicious, well everything is but the pot pie and the philly cheesesteak are my fave

Great spot to go and grab your smoked fish selection or fish salad on Fridays morning (8am-1pm) and bring it at home. Very local adventure. Lovely!
This is one of the largest producers of smoked fish in the US, and you can find many of their products in stores. But for real deals, stop in Fridays, 8am-1pm, when they open up for retail sales.
From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fridays, the Greenpoint warehouse that supplies Russ & Daughters is open to the public. Pro-tip: There are no bagels, so BYOB.

Hummus is amazing, shepard and octopus salads - awesome. St peters fish is one of the best I have ever had. But pretty large - good for sharing.

Straightforward, home-style Italian food, with the BEST garlic knots. Get the house salad, followed by fried zucchini and something from their specials menu.

Goat Tassot: served with rice and beans, fried plantains (like tostones), and pikil, a fruity hot sauce that tastes like Yucatan habanero salsa diluted with vinegar.
The Tasso's really good and have the Port-au-Princess (or a few if you're not driving!)...and their sweet potato bread pudding is yum!
