Ian Westcott: For a quick breakfast, grab a couple spring rolls and an iced coffee. The coffee is actually Cafe Du Monde from New Orleans, brewed Vietnamese-style and poured over ice with condensed milk.
Jess Naldo: Some things/a lot of things are just better getting outside of Manhattan. Fresh ingredients & warm bread... by far, NYC's best banh mi ($5) & the "Special" coffee is sweet, heartwarming goodness.
The New York Times: Cheap and terrific banh mi (the meatball version’s best) on the northern edge of Brooklyn Chinatown, with ace coffee.
The Corcoran Group: The best old-school bakery in Greenpoint. The intoxicating aroma of sugar and coffee draws you in, and you can’t help but get a cup of joe and a french cruller for about $2.

janelle gunther: Should really be named "Peter Pan We Don't Have Donuts At 9 Come Back At 9:30-10 But When You Come Back At 9:40 There Still Won't Be Donuts Yet Even After You Wait 20 More Minutes Come Back At 11"
