Incredible selection of amaro. If you're curious, ask the bartender if you can try a few. Fantastic team - these people really love Italian food and wine, and make you feel right at home.

V tiny in here, you have to be okay with being as smooshed as possible. The grilled octopus and all the pastas make it worth it.
Some of the best Italian you will have in New York. Start with the beet salad (with arugula, orange and fennel) and get the cavatelli and lasagna. That's what we did and it was amazing.

Love love love Provini. Off the beaten path, for Park Slope. The Homemade cheesecake will slay you. I've spent too many hours on the patio with too many bottles of wine, but that's okay.
Try one of the many risottos — they're homemade and well-priced. For starters, creative salads abound — we love the one with grilled corn, fire-roasted peppers, avocado, arugula and shaved parmigiano.
Everything is good here...but service is slow. Be prepared to be here for two hours for dinner.
Started off with grilled calamari and the prosciutto fig goat cheese baguettes. Cant go wrong. The game changer though is the Bolognese. Cant think of a time I have had better. Licked the plate.
Great spot tucked away in an up and coming area of South Williamsburg. Fresh mozzarella and homemade meatballs were outstanding. The short rib is done with a red sauce, offering a nice flair.
Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. I recommend the Gigili pasta with the Persian saffron, amazing!!

Bolognese is a must. Some of the best I've ever had. Get a quartino of multipulciano too. Parpadelle with short rib ragu is a close second.

Super friendly guy at the register from time to time...but all the workers I've met here are friendly. It's also one of few Starbucks around so it's all we got. I'll take it!

This place is so delicious. Maybe the best traditional, rustic Italian food I've had in NYC. The baccala and leeks over chick peas is wonderful. For wine, you can't go wrong with Rosso di Montalcino.

Beautiful restaurant. Wood paneling evokes an old Italian library or pharmacy. Recs: Thyme maltagliati w/ roasted mushrooms. Pignoli cookies for dessert. Service isn't in-your-face. Great vibe overall

Saraghina is my first go-to spot when I have visitors from abroad as it perfectly depicts the contemporary vibe of Bed-Stuy. Start at the tapas bar, have a cocktail and wait to be moved to a table.

Stick to the pizzas here. Artichoke or mushroom w/ truffle oil are A+ Avoid the pastas. The pesto is bland. The gnocchi gorgonzola gets old real quick. Want pasta? Go to Fragole one block south.
Agonizingly slow service, mediocre panini, but the bartender was refreshingly friendly.
La Piazzetta's menu is full of modern dishes sure to please every taste in your party. LP also serves up a unique brunch menu, with classic frittatas and items like Crab Cake Benedict.
