Aleksandr Kalininskiy: Seaweed salad is a pretty great addition to any roll. Also their soups are great!

Judy Luo: chirashi is excellent. get the fisherman's bowl!
Kristin Munson: $3.99 for a nicely sized portion of seaweed salad.

Justin W.: Try the Sashimi Deluxe - Wonderful assortment of fish along with a spot of seaweed salad, berries and tamago. Great atmosphere too!
Grace Wayser: This place is off the charts. Get the rock shrimp tempura and ask for the sauce on top (not the side). Avocado mango salad, spicy scallop & king dragon roll are all phenomenal.

Cole Kennedy: Enjoyable neighborhood Japanese spot. I liked the pork katsu curry (pictured) and the gyoza, but the chirashi and nabeyaki udon also looked good!
BrooklynMuseum: Staff Pick! Stephanie (Education): Gen has high-quality, fresh sushi at good prices. The patio out back is a lovely spot for dining in the spring and summer. Enjoy the green or red bean ice cream.
Doris Neubauer: This is really the best sushi in all of Brooklyn. It's served the way it should and always go for the Chef special.

Kev Skinny: Best sushi bay ridge. Get the rock shrimp tempura to start. Tare tare is also insane.
Tom Maxim: The "mob wives" eat here.
MissKris 🎀 1011: Used to be one of my favorite sushi places, but the past few times I've been here I've been seriously disappointed. The quality & portion size has seriously declined. Dish a few blocks away is better
