David Kaplan: This is one of the best places to buy one of the best-tasting spirits, Sorel. Great whiskey and local (Long Island/North Fork) wines.
estheribrown ✌🏻: The staff here are super friendly and helpful - they're happy to make recommendations and I've never had a miss w/one. Love the $12 and under table and the free wine tastings & classes. Great shop.
Scott Flaherty: I'm no connoisseur (tend to pick wine by the design on the label), but it seems like they keep the cheaper stuff on a table in the middle, and in general have a great selection.

Mike Chau: Try the buttermilk fried chicken - With cheddar waffles and Savoy cabbage slaw
Serious Eats: Southern-inspired and always interesting, Buttermilk Channel is worth checking out. The grilled flatbread and vegetable sides with cheddar waffles are always stand outs.

Oliver Huang: The Traditional Breakfast brought me back to Japan. Try it if you've spent time living in Japan or want to embrace traditional food, it's not easy to find! Yaki-salmon, unagi-maki, kinpira, and NATTO!
BrooklynMuseum: Staff Pick! Stephanie (Education): Gen has high-quality, fresh sushi at good prices. The patio out back is a lovely spot for dining in the spring and summer. Enjoy the green or red bean ice cream.
Doris Neubauer: This is really the best sushi in all of Brooklyn. It's served the way it should and always go for the Chef special.
Sarah: love this place! quiet, great service, interesting film to peek. recommend: summer rolls, "33" beer, spicy calamari entree (comes with rice). pork belly is only thing that hasn't been A+ for us here.
Village Voice: Lift the lid on the Clay Pot Catfish: supple hunks of white fish bathed in a subtly peppered broth and topped with carrots and scallions. Enjoy over a mound of freshly steamed rice.
Vivek Bhagwat: Get the shaking beef and Mama's sautéed ginger chicken and potato
