The coconut sweet bread is delicious.
Ribs and chicken stew were both tasty without too much salt. Just enough sauce for the brown rice. The sweet breads require milk.
The food is delicious and the service is friendly and helpful. There is limited seating so it's better for take out. They have a varied menu of vegan and gluten free. Tasty enough for even non vegans
The Yemeni breakfast, avocado toast, little samosa like things and also the cream-cheese filled sweet breads are all to die for. Come before 12 to avoid the rush.
The fragrant shakshuka and the lamb haneeth sandwich are amazing brunch options to share. The coffee is also really good

The currant rolls are legendary, but here early - they sell out every day! In a pinch the coconut rolls are very good too. Also bake & saltfish.

Went there Sunday morning & the line was exceptionally long. Out the door to be exact but it was well worth the wait. There hard dough breads are always fresh and the currant rolls are to die for.

Super friendly guy at the register from time to time...but all the workers I've met here are friendly. It's also one of few Starbucks around so it's all we got. I'll take it!

Order the masterfully prepared sineya (perfectly textured hummus w/ grilled onions & mushrooms, w/ or w/o meat) and ask for skhug on the side (they serve the green Tamani style)

I LOVE how they serve the oatmeal! They give you plain oatmeal with sides of dry fruit, nut medley, and brown sugar and you are able to add what you want and make your own oatmeal!
Keep walking up. When u get hot by a car don't complain.
