The staff here are super friendly and helpful - they're happy to make recommendations and I've never had a miss w/one. Love the $12 and under table and the free wine tastings & classes. Great shop.
I'm no connoisseur (tend to pick wine by the design on the label), but it seems like they keep the cheaper stuff on a table in the middle, and in general have a great selection.
Excellent open-faced sandwiches and affordable wines by the glass. Great for a small group to kick back and chat for a while over small plates.

Just got a new chef and food is uniformly excellent. Soups are great, and get any dessert they have.
Amazing bread in thick slices. Avocado toast is delish, and the poached egg was cooked perfectly!
The Uni Salmon bomb is incredible. Also the Japanese style chocolate mousse is INcredible.

Try the Sashimi Platter. 4 types of fish, all super fresh and comes on a bed of greens and cubed carrots, daikon, radishes for a palette cleanser. You will not be disappointed.
