The wine tour at 1pm on Saturday was fun, interesting, informative and short (so we can focus on the wine tasting).
Took the bike out to Red Hook and found this gem of a place. A gorgeous space with delicious wines and an amazing view.
Brooklyn has its very own winery?! These guys are right on the beautiful Red Hook pier, offer tastings on the weekends and even have a killer wine club where they send you 12 special bottles a year.

I'm no connoisseur (tend to pick wine by the design on the label), but it seems like they keep the cheaper stuff on a table in the middle, and in general have a great selection.

They have frequent wine tastings on Saturdays 5-7pm during which you get 10% off the wines they're sampling. It's a sweet deal. Also, check out the clearance rack for sales on some nice bottles.
