I love Beat Brasserie, the atmosphere is great for dates but does get crowded fairly quickly. Great wine bar and selection, food is decent but the vibe is what draws folks. Phenomenal live music

Get the Atomic Meatloaf. Highly recommend (as did the waiter) to get the hot sauce on the side. Delicious but very hot. Also try the hushpuppies!

Good, well-made Chinese food. Courteous waitstaff and very fast preparation for takeout. Recommend the Yu Hsiang beef, crab rangoon, General Gau's chicken, and egg rolls.
Take home some frozen pork and leek dumplings to boil up for yourself later. Cheap and hand-made!
It's all about dumplings here—if you can't get enough at the restaurant, bring a frozen bag of 50 home.
Everything is so fresh & delicious. Crab toast, arancini, meatballs, & NY strip=amazing! The cocktails are really strong, too. Our server was great. A+.
