The short ribs with risotto - extremely deli !
I rate this restaurant AAA. Try the Short Ribs, and if they have the sautéed stuffed quail appetizer...go for it. Deserts are great too 👍👍👍

Mussels, short ribs, sea bass, all AMAZING. Food great but the only thing French about this restaurant is the name.
Get the house mojito. We've loved the mussells, the burger, steak roquefurt, and the beef short ribs. They can do meat to fish all wonderful and in classic French style.
visited Charleston and ate here twice. BBQ sandwich and Philly sandwich was so good! Family got short rib! Awesome. Don't think anything here is bad!

Airy space and great service, plus delicious drinks and food! You must try the green tomato cocktail. Also, fried eggplant, short rib, and tomato salad are not to be missed. Dessert was great too!
The fried pickled green tomatoes are outstanding, sweet and sour with a nice kick. And served on an old Coke bottle that's been cut in half

Great for brunch! Be prepared to wait a bit but you won't be disappointed. Fried chicken and short rib sandwiches were delicious as was the blackened catfish. Biscuits to start! Friendly service too.
Gouda Mac & Cheese is really good to get started and Short Rib Ragu was the 2nd best Ragu my wife has ever had. Crispy Skin Snapper dish was to die for as well.

Burger- awesome. Ceaser salad- wonderful (minus the sardine). Filet- holy crap. Creme Brulee with Nivoli Moscato d'Asti- perfect. GO!
Oak Steakhouse is probably the best restaurant in downtown Charleston. Don't worry about parking - they offer a valet service. Just pull up in front on Broad Street and wait for an attendant.
Saturday short ribs are best on earth.... ; hot guts; turkey; brisket; beer selection; great butchers
