This building once housed the Charlotte Mint. The museum opened in 1936 and was the first art museum in North Carolina.

I'm a big fan of the exposed wood and brick throughout O-Ku... the Tea-Quila, a silver tequila, mint infused green tea margarita hybrid, with a smoked salt rim was a perfect pre-dinner cocktail.
Sushi os awesome. I loved the Pork Belly Sushi. Didn't try the cocktails, but that's on my to do list for the next time
If you like Walgreens sushi and microwaved Trader Joe’s dumplings, then you will love it here. If you like flavor, don’t bother.

Hands down the best chicken salad in town, but with so many creative lunch selections, it's difficult to choose. Plus, Halcyon - located in the Mint Museum Uptown - is open for lunch on the weekends.
Great upscale restaurant for lunch and dinner. Have a meal here when visiting the Mint Museum Uptown.

The mini's are super cute and of course the cupcakes are delicious. Pre ordering a box is a must they stay busy.
