Serious Eats: Located inside the famous Chelsea Market, this spirits shop carries a respectable array of quality liquor. The prices skew a little high, but it's a best bet for the neighborhood nonetheless.

John A: Great casual bar to watch sports, have a beer. Guys are friendly and from Chelsea and around nyc. Bar staff is super friendly! Sunday afternoons are relaxing, outdoor seats, east coast sports teams.
Manhunt: NYC's gay sports bar. FYI - Drinks are delicious but STRONG. Musclebear, bear, cub, older crowd mixed in with All-American Boy type - some actually there to watch sports.
