Not easy to find but it doesn't get much more authentic. Truly excellent good variety. Kao Soy is in fact excellent.
Chilled atmosphere outside of the city center, surrounded by greenery. Music too loud to have a conversation but could be OK for work. The restaurant next to the cafe serves authentic Thai food.

This restaurant might not look like much, but has been serving up authentic northern Thai food since 1957. Try the khao soi or spicy sausages... yum!

An extremely popular place to have authentic Thai foods. The barbecue shrimps is quite special, in addition to the classic curries, soups, fried rice or pad Thai.
Khao soi was amazing, not too spicy for a European like me and the staff was very friendly and funny.
food is okay but not that exceptional as I expected. Saw lots of local Thais eating here, guessing this place might be very authentic and not modified for foreign tourists.

Not sure what to think about this restaurant. For sure it was pure authentic Thai food. However we did not see anyone’s smiling or enjoying the food. The best thing we ordered was the Thai sausage.
The spaghetti bolognese here is awesome. 100% Authentic flavour as if was from Italy. Must try!!

A Le Cordon Bleu certainly certify the Chef and his shop to be an original French patisserie. So just to remind you that a sour Berry on a side of you pastry is to refresh you.. don't leave it alone.

Some of the best coffee available in Thailand! I am from New Zealand and love great coffee. I have had many bad coffees in Asia, so I am always weary about trying a new cafe. I am glad I did!

The prawn spaghetti is nice but isn't 100% authentic. The sauce is more sweet than tomato sourish. Prawns could be fresher.

An overated thai cuisine. All the customers are farangs. Portion is huge. Prices are on a bit high side. Taste far from authentic. Not recommended.
Not the most "authentic" experience - great if you want a sanitized "farang" meal, but if you're looking for real Thai food, maybe you should go somewhere else! (Like Lemongrass near the Night Mkt)
Deep fried seabass with Tamarind curry sauce is awesome. I can't say much about the authenticity of thai food at this place.
