Light, airy dining room w/ high ceilings — great vibes (and not too loud)! Suggested dishes: Tzatziki, spicy whipped feta, beet salad, & Giorgie’s gyros. Chicken is good, too + save room for balklava.
Didn’t have a bad item on the menu; the halloumi, spartan octopus and Georgie’s gyros were all excellent.
The griddled cypriot halloumi is very good like the roasted calamari but the Sparta octopus is the bomb 🐙 a bit on the pricy side but that’s chicago for you

Greek Island is the staple of Greek Town, importing wines, olives oil, oregano, honey and olives straight from Greece. Try their distinctive lima beans and Colorado lamb.
The whole staff is great. Tons of great options. Some favorites: saganaki, Athenian salad, broiled salmon, Lake Superior white fish tail, gyros (extra tzatziki). Hot Lima beans may be the star.

Mmmm, this Greek spot may look like a hole in the wall, but the food is always delicious. The chicken is consistently moist, the gryos are fantastic+well prepared. Fresh food is always a plus! ;)

Very affordable Greek fare! Kalamata chicken had excellent flavor, and for the love of food, make sure you get feta cheese with the salad! Greek fries are super worth it too.
Greek offering in Lincoln Park. The atmosphere, design setting is awesome. Staff is friendly, wine list amazing and the food-Epic. Try the Kataifi Prawns, Octopodi (pic) and Taverna Style Lamb Chops!

Cute date spot. Great service with Greek servers that are very attentive and helpful with recommendations. Take advantage of their happy hour every weekday 2:30-5:30pm on drinks and small bites.
The lamb-beef meatballs, the charred eggplant spread. The food was average. Burger tasted like a pita. The halloumi avacado salad was terrible! Too sweet. All in all, okay experience. Not rushing back

The eggs are wonderful, the baked avocado is excellent, the French toast is spectacular. Their coffee and barista offerings are excellent. The atmosphere is great and they’re kid friendly.
