It feels like a time machine and not in a terrible kitschy way but in a way that makes you feel as if several patrons at the bar may be ghosts. Love the vibe, the specials, and the tots.
1/2 price bottles of wine on mondays. the selection is slim, but quite yummy nonetheless! for appetizers, try the pretzel duo. for wraps, try the sante fe steak w/ tots. you can't go wrong with tots.

I've never had greasy shrimp. Love the shrimp tacos, the clam chowder and the tots. Had blackened mahi mahi that was excellent.

Fish of the day is usually my go-to lunch option here - very nicely seasoned and grilled usually. Truffle parmesan tater tots are quite amazing as well

Get cheesy tots....the cheese isnt your regular cheapo nacho cheese... think mac & cheese but tots instead of noodles. Yumm.

Get a side of tater tots with chipotle mayo sauce! Menus are all coated and sticky. I suggest using the one on the wall, considering you're eating with your hands.
Best drunk or hangover food. The Mac is the best and the tots are to die for.

$4 hot dog and fries Tuesdays is the way to go. Tots are good, hot dog was good, corn dog was good. Very reasonably priced.
My biggest regret in life is not coming here sooner! Chicago dog and fries= amazing! BYOBurger= EXTRA amazing. Tots not as good as the fries tho, but still damn good. Get the spicy garlic mayo

I'd skip the breakfast/brunch here. But please do get that lunch/dinner! The Castro is a Cubano on top of a steak burger!! There's sandwiches with Mac'n'Cheese on it! And Tater Tots Nom Nom!

Great management & waitress they brought out a table for 2 on a busy Friday around 630. Good beer selection.Order the mini burgers, buffalo chicken sandwhich and of course the tator tots. Coming back!
