In the heart of downtown Detroit, Campus Martius Park is a great place to see an outdoor concert in the summer or go ice-skating in the winter. Be sure to look for the Point of Origin marker!

The theatre opened on April 1, 1915. There is a myth that legendary magician Harry Houdini gave his last performance on stage here, on Halloween night 1926, but it was later proven false.

Contrary to popular myth, Harry Houdini did not give his final performance at the Majestic. His last performance was at the Garrick Theatre on Griswold.

Concerts and Sporting events. Even if you are in the Mezzanine area to the right of the stage, you can still see the performers.
There’s Olympia,Tiger Stadium, Joe Louis Arena, Silverdome, Comerica, Ford Field. Little Caesar’s Arena is like nothing I’ve ever seen. The Andrea Bocelli concert made better only by a fantastic venue
Open only Friday night and some Saturdays. Go here for food and drinks and stay all night for the live music and amazing people watching!
One of my favorite spots in Detroit. The fabulous Jennie Knaggs performs every other Friday usually. Great vibe, great people, great food. Just great.

You can buy drinks pre concert and have them waiting for you at intermission. Also buy a drink coupon from the box office or online for only $3.50 good for most drinks.
If you have the chance, catch a concert. Tickets are cheap, and the DSO is a major symphony orchestra, playing at a world-class level.
