I've been going to this cafe since 2009, and this place has got to be the best, the food and drinks are really decent! Its just the best friendliest customer service so far in Downtown, LA!
Don't come here between 12:05 and 12:45. You'll feel like a twit when you think about all the businesses in the area teeming with desk jockeys looking to "get something healthy" for lunch.

earthy, nutty, crunch is my "usual" but I wanted to try something else these days. chinatown & the hipster is pretty good. However. my new favorite is downtown cobb~♡

I recommend this place. Although located in an "edgy" part of DTLA, it's worth it. Delicious northern Italian cuisine. Hand made pasta (owners are Italian). Nice ambiance. Prices are reasonable.
Get the flan!
They have vegan and vegetarian options. And organic teas.
The avocado toast is super yummy. The quinoa scone was super light and fluffy and the gym was super delicious. The spinach frittata with the butternut squash is made for a great finish to brunch.

Food is great (especially the tuna tartare). Medium-high prices. Excellent staff and service. The rooftop has an amazing atmosphere. Also: great cocktails (if you enjoy vodka, try the Lolita!).
