I couldn't wait to try this spot! I am so glad I came in to see Chef ITO at his best. The food was epic, presentation was amazing. The wine list blew me away! It's all organic and vegan!
On my first visit, I had the curried rice. They hit it out of the park on this one. The dish was amazing! This is now on my top three Los Angeles vegan restaurants.
Tacos were a bit soggy after waiting for over 30mins since my to-go pick up order. They missed the order from ChowNow, a 3rd party app. Order directly from Tocaya app if you don't want soggy tacos!
The least tasty burrito. Spicy rice and tortilla, it was all I could taste. Little nutritions and lots of calories. Do not recommend and will never go back! ☹️
Service during the lunch rush is abysmally slow.

The OG Ramen is Amazing! 100% Vegan Ramen with a creamy Sunflower seed broth. TOTALLY recommend it to first timers.

Vegetarian pho is yums! also try #24: bun cha gio chay (vermicelli rice noodles with veg egg rolls). With any of the bun dishes, dump all of the sauce in the bowl add sriracha, and dig in!
The vegetarian spring rolls are amazing! A must have appetizer.

Interesting flavor options, but soooo dry. Fine for vegans, I’m sure, but inadequate substitute for anyone who eats and enjoys real donuts and baked products.
They have a curated selection of unique donut flavors, ice creams and milkshakes. There are no seats.
Big Plate, fried chicken, kale and swap out the mashed potato for veggies. Always a solid choice for lunch or dinner (as they are open until 9pm)
The grilled chicken Cobb is really good although kinda pricey for a salad

The silken tofu dish is amazing.
I loved the salmon trout (melts in your mouth) and the rice dish wrapped in a leaf (amazing & complex flavors & textures). The ikaru tofu is good. I didn’t like the koji pork.
Had a really phenomenal experience with the omakase at the bar. Inventive and delicious food with friendly and attentive service in a serene space. Would come back again and again.

Uli has the best gelato I have ever tasted. Sea salt caramel is king!

Super Nacho Hour happy hour is outstanding. Vegan nachos kickass even for omnivores. Off menu puffy tacos are also awesome. Check their site for daily happy hour times.
