Katerina Drozdova: Very tasty burger, the best I've tried in Edinburgh (special beef from Highlands region)
Tom: Delicious food and friendly staff making eating here a real joy. Try the Scran and Scallie steak pie for a delicious main, complete with bone marrow gravy holder! Desserts very tasty as you can see...
Derek Flanzraich: Yup, the steak pie was amazing. Crab & toast to start was, too. Save room for dessert and get the clafoutis!

Clea Romeo: The lunch special is really good value. Both the 1/2kg mussels and the steak were excellent. Friendly service too
Olivia Gunapalan: Food was so good I came back here to eat on my last day in Edinburgh. The Surf and Turf à la “Mussel and Steak” is a must try as is the Grilled Scallops which was divine!

Article Dan: The beef & chilli burger is simply fantastic. Best burger I've had, in a restaurant. And at £7.50 with chips and delicious garlic mayo, I've paid a lot more for lesser efforts.
Glenn Garriock: Lovely view, friendly service and a damn fine steak sandwich at Lunchtime!
Andrew Ferguson: Great lunch menu! Love the braised beef.

Ben Leach: The steak and merlot pie is fantastic, best puff pastry pie I've ever had
Jake Heath: Sticky toffee pudding is ace especially when twinned with a wee dram. However pie lovers beware, the steak and ale pie is in fact a stew with a puff pastry lid!
Stephen Gheysens: Great cocktails and service. Enjoyed the food (steaks, chicken, hagis) and the Bobby Burns pictured here.

John Watson: Wee taste of Scotland, tasty Haggis. Great meaty steak pie and chips. My girlfriend adored the Cullen Skink. Balmoral Chicken (special) excellent, the pepper sauce is Very peppery. Great Staff too.

Jason A: The beef carpaccio on the a la carte menu is to *die* for.
Anca Martin: Fully agree with Jason A, but so is the steak! One of the rare (3!) places in Edinburg able to make a proper rare steak... Enjoy!
Lainie: Here for the festival? You'll be treated more like a wallet on legs than a customer. The steak I ordered here was cooked correctly, but there's more to a good steak than that. Didn't taste great.

Stephen Duncan: Just awesome esp if you love seafood. I love the steak tartare. Book weeks in advance for dinner. Lunch easier to get booking and 2 courses £15.95 for this quality you can't argue with that!
gareth thomas: Dressed brown crab starter really excellent. Also steak tartar my girlfriend said was the best she had eaten.
Anthony Cameron: One of the best sea food restaurants I've ever been to. From my last visit I would highly recommend the sea bream curry and steak tartare.
