Don't listen to the person who says 1kg of mussels is too much! The blue cheese mussels are to die for. House wine is pretty good ad reasonably priced. Reserving a table is a must as it gets so busy.

Everything was perfect! Try the salmon, the sausage with mustard sauce and the Turkey with blue cheese sauce!! The crème brulé is one of the best I've tried. Friendly staff overall.

We did a 6-course tasting menu. By far, the best course was our starter, the potato leek blue cheese soup. Everything after was anywhere from mediocre to not great. Wine pairing was also okay

Great place for a quick bite, they also have a cocktails menu and other alcoholic drinks. Anything with the brisket on the menu is excellent!!

The veggie haggis is delicious! We also enjoyed their ham, cheddar and chutney sandwich and the brie and jam sandwich. Very lovely place and the service is excellent.
Beetroot & Tomato soup & a salmon & crowdie sandwich were delicious. All fresh ingredients and sourced from Scotland. A great wee place just off the Royal Mile!

Thai fritters were sooo good. Banana chutney is 👌 mushroom wellington for main was also rather tasty. Staff were excellent and food came very quickly (and it was very fresh).

Excellent cocktails and food is delicious. Do try out the deer burger - might be on the sweeter side. The staff is courteous and warm - they were really patient & understanding with our toddlers.

This fantastic restaurant is a hidden gem of Edinburgh's extensive dining choices. Food is very reasonably priced and delicious and you can even have a malt with each course!
