Lovely cinema, both in atmosphere and architecture in the screens. The bar was refurbished in recent years and is great - filled with armchairs to chill out pre (or post) film.

This is a cozy spot where locals hang out. Comfy chairs, relaxed service, good range of drinks, and reasonably priced food. If you like Bloody Mary's, try the Beetlejuice!

Lovely place! Had the coffee-marinated steak and a game burger - both delicious! The dessert was a letdown though, skip it.
I only stayed here one night. But is enough to say that is a great hostel. It's huge. Really clean. Nice bathrooms. The common areas awesome with really comfortable couches. Wifi works!!!

Odeon returns to Fort Kinnaird after several years absence. Comfy seats and a Costa in the lobby.
Good comfy seats. Much better than vue Edinburgh and much nearer at the Fort. Book online and use automated ticket collection otherwise u may be in for a very long wait! They have Costa Coffee inside.
Nice comfortable seats, big screens but you should probably book online a seat because they can get filled up quite quickly and you have to sit at the front of the cinema.

Great for gigs but awful on a weekend. Stinks of sewage, staff did not clear tables - lots of old drinks lying around and fruit flies everywhere. Ugh.

Used to be great but they have repainted it grey, have shit music and got rid of the board games, comfy chairs and stuffed animals. Still worth a visit on a sunny day for a pint in the beergarden.

Not the finest roast dinner I have ever had. Pastry and Yorkshire pudding ok, but the beef & ale pie was lacking taste and the side of butternut squash was quite simple. Gravy pretty tasteless too.
Fruit scone w/ clotted cream and jam is brilliant. Could do with a bit of speed about them. If you're lucky enough to get a couch, take it and enjoy.

Great selection of books, frequent book events, but the highlight is the amazing view of the castle from a few seats of the upstairs café!
