Loved the burger, great choices of draft beer from local breweries, talisman is very tasty. Enjoy the 'red squirrel burger' with sweet potato fries.
Get the 5 1/3 beers for £11.50 well worth the money especially as some of them are 7.4%! They had around 18 draft or cask beers to try when I went.
Certainly not the cheapest pub, but great craft beer selection with more than 25 beers on tap.
It's all about the craft beer here. Fantastic selection on tap and in bottles. Can't fault the range and selection. The food is good too. I had the locally sourced pork pie and it was very good.
Lots of interesting and different beers on tap! Also a wide variation of whiskeys. Cozy feeling but could easily fit in more sestings without getting crowded.
A lovely pub with craft, draught beer and a huge whiskey selection. I could imagine The Bow Bar as a quite genuine Scottish pub! Cheers!

I second the tips on the Thistly Cross Cider and anything with whiski sauce (the haggis is awesome). Wish the cider was on tap rather than bottled though.

Very young, hipster feel to the crowd and interior. Great tap beers! Try the belgian Oud Bruin if they still have it. Free WiFi with password written on the chalkboard menu behind the bar!

Magnificent burgers, even sans bun as I am required to enjoy mine. The Bohemian boasts tasty slices of turkey and prosciutto on top. The decor and service are similarly excellent.

Never knew I&G did such a great range of beers. Good bar area separate from dining area... great atmosphere even when quiet thanks to friendly bar staff.

Friendly, cheerful and briskly organised young folk serving - and they have a great wee play-area for kids!
Good: New management, inside refreshed, new menu & some Alechemy on tap. Bad: pork chops one of which was undercooked & chef saying that "sometimes happens close to the bone", plus no sauce or gravy

Perfect for a quick lunch, good service and not busy. Soup with cheese and ham toasty is delicious and very good value!
