I recommend getting there around mid afternoon for a bar meal as they can run out. Excellent choice that complements the main stars of the Society, their unique single malts & grain whiskers.
Try the ultra smooth Kilchoman Machir Bay Islay single malt - superb!
Go for the Lagavulin!
Great selection of whisky but be careful! Some of these are double digit ££ for just a dram! For example Shackleton Mckinlay Blend is £14 a nip & Lagavulin 25yo malt is £75 a nip!
The gold experience is amazingly good value. I learnt lots about whisky and had 5 single malts - would definitely go again.

Some nice real ales and a great spot for Single Malt lovers. If you are hungry try the "Mug O Meals" the Cullen Skink being particularly good and cheap!
Great for lunch or drinks on the waterside deck. All food comes in mugs! Mac & Cheese in a mug is amazing.

This fantastic restaurant is a hidden gem of Edinburgh's extensive dining choices. Food is very reasonably priced and delicious and you can even have a malt with each course!

We were 2 and had a delicious Scottish dinner in this place! We tried crofters chicken and haggis tower with 2 pints of beer and they were really good! The burgers seemed also very appetising...
