Alex Still: Legit spicy Thai. The Pork Larb, papaya salad, crispy catfish salad are stellar apps. Duck Penang curry a solid entree.
Serious Eats: Great Thai fare with an expansive menu. Some of the best dishes are hearty ones, like rice cooked with funky shrimp paste, Hainan chicken, or a fried watercress salad.

Kevin Yeh: SLICED BEEF, ALWAYS. Fried rice has a good texture, juices are fresh and flavorful. Great service, tight space -- especially by the veggie bar. It's on Roosevelt, so you'll hear the subway.
Escape Cardona: Love this place. The soups can get really spicy so get the clear soup if spicy isn't your thing. The service is great and attentive. Their thai ice tea is a perfect pair with the spicy soups.
