Tried grandma pie. Nice mixture of herbs, delicious tomatoes and cheese. Dry for my own taste of pizza. But that's because NY style of making crunchy pizzas

Legit spicy Thai. The Pork Larb, papaya salad, crispy catfish salad are stellar apps. Duck Penang curry a solid entree.
Great Thai fare with an expansive menu. Some of the best dishes are hearty ones, like rice cooked with funky shrimp paste, Hainan chicken, or a fried watercress salad.
Try the E-Sarn sausage here, which gets its oomph from fish sauce and galangal. Featured in Cheap Eats 2011!
A very different take on the Vietnamese sandwich. Try the BBQ shredded pork but make sure you get an egg with it. The egg is worth it.

SLICED BEEF, ALWAYS. Fried rice has a good texture, juices are fresh and flavorful. Great service, tight space -- especially by the veggie bar. It's on Roosevelt, so you'll hear the subway.
Love this place. The soups can get really spicy so get the clear soup if spicy isn't your thing. The service is great and attentive. Their thai ice tea is a perfect pair with the spicy soups.
The lechon kawali was soft and delicious. Worth the trip! Enjoy.
