Perfect spot for an after work beer and conversation. Overhead space heaters for those cold and wet SF days. The 64 oz. growlers 'to go' are a steal at $10.

The Ferry Building is very popular, and I recommend it to anyone who is visiting San Francisco. They've got great restaurants (Slanted Door, MarketBar) and a morning farmer's market a few times a week

Parking is not good. With a good deal of waiting around, safest bet is to take public transportation. 12/hour lot on mission is closest lot.

Great streetcar museum - worth a visit - photos, maps, models, and even Maya Angelou
Free admission. Pretty cool gift shop. While they have info about railways in general, their focus is the groovy vintage F-line railcars that run up Market and along The Embarcadero.
It's mostly a gift shop, but there is enough history in there to keep you occupied for 10 minutes or so.
