Very nice and authentic old style Frankfurter restaurant with traditional dishes and apple wine. A must for a tourist who seeks and wants to feel the local atmosphere.

Zur Buchscheer belongs to the small group of apple wine taverns that make their own apple wine and pour it in their apple wine tavern. 100 years back, this was the rule. Today it is the exception.
Had a visit here today with my office colleagues. Loved the place and ambience. And off course the apple wine was special for me. I tried the half grilled chicken with coleslaw and bread. It was nice

Luckily we were there on Thurs! Only open Sat/Thurs. Really fun experience with lots of vendors selling sausages, schnitzel, apple wine, beer, honey, yogurt ice cream and more. Highly recommended.
Check out "Tante Muh's Milchbar"! Try the hot milk with flavours in winter and the yogurt icecream with several toppings in summer. The "Hefekloss" with melted butter is said to be delicious too.

Best cinnamon roll I have ever tasted. Amazing, soft and sweet. All of them are incredible it the best is the apple one 😍
Hands down one of the best you will ever have. The dough was at the right density, texture and taste. I had the maple and walnut flavor, the apple cinnamon also looked nice.

It's a very authentic German place on the small square. Lots of local food and drinks. Must have's are Frankfurterteller and Apfelwein!

One of the best "Äppler" or typical local apple wine pubs. Kitchen is of particular notice as very good, try "Frankfurter Krüstchen" if not to hungry or Cordon Bleu or Haxe if really hungry!
