The booth is great for an intimate dinner, the lobster risotto is decent and the garlic lamb and sweet potato is delicious. A glass of rombauer will go well with the lobster & Cuba libre with the lamb
Excellent service. Lamb is wonderful. Acoustics are superior, so don't talk about anybody if you don't want someone to hear you on the other side of the room.
Lamb chops are tender and perfect. Cheese plate appetizer is very generously served.
The Cinnamon bagels are in a must!!!

There's a "Special of the Day" everyday, as well as a "Soup of the Day", almost every day different. You can call ahead orders, or just do so to find out the specials. Also great for party planning!

Irene's café has very friendly staff which makes your experience great. Additionally the California burger I enjoyed tonight was great and made of fresh products and with nice Fries. Great portions!
Did you know when ordering your burger, you can choose bread and cheese. Try a cheeseburger on sourdough with pepper jack. Mmm!
Good food in the middle of the Tower District. Patio dining and people watching makes for an enjoyable experience.
Definitely the go-to place for the 50+ crowd. Bustling little place though. Skip the chili cheese burger and get the smoked tritip sandwich.
Service was AWFUL!!! Appetizer came same time as the meal. Drinks to follow. Asked for napkins from 3 separate servers and still did not get any!!!!!
