Service was great but the food was mediocre. I would come back. I got the crawfish, which lacked spices. The blackened flounder with twice pilaf and grilled vegetables was decent.

FLAVORFUL!! Everything delicious!! The grilled chicken pizza, the Red Fish, The Pineapple Burger with Avocado, chicken salad sandwich!! We came here just because everything was closed for Christmas.
The broiled red snapper, the fried shrimp, the shrimp linguine, the crawfish, the shrimp poboy and the crab cake sandwich were all to die for!

You can ask for half tails and half etouffe for crawfish. Not on menu but a good option.

The shrimp and oyster poboy was awesome. But the one dish that was amazing was the bread pudding!! Probably the best bread pudding I have ever had in my life.

We had great service and loved our food. I got the crab cake sandwich and my hubby got the tilapia and crab stuffed poblano. Kids enjoyed their meals - large portions. They validate parking too.
Seafood Fettuccine with Alfredo sauce on angel hair pasta was creamy and not too heavy, and very well-flavored - full of shrimp, crawfish, and scallops.
The Mario's Special pizza was fantastic, lots of fresh veggies and plenty of the meats. The service was great, Jenny was a great waitress!

Best flounder I've ever had, it wasn't really improved by the crawfish stuffing. I felt a little sorry for him, he was probably swimming around with his friends this morning
Had the combo platter, the scallops were outstanding, the whole thing was very good.
Gaido's has a reputation for consistently fresh and well-prepared food. There is something for everyone. If you've not dined at Gaido's, you haven't really explored Galveston.
