This def. has to be one of the BEST bars in San Diego..if your a tourist this is the must-go to spot that is ALWAYS happening!
Grilled cheese is super cheesy and delicious with truffle oil! Pairs well with the Niner Petit Syrah. And everything else on the menu.

I loved the Mission Hefeweizen beer & casual ambiance of Barleymash. The restaurant had all the front windows open; it was refreshing & comfortable. I would go back again.
The "iron fries" (seasoned french fries topped with everything from short rib to turkey chili) make a great shared appetizer.

UNDERGROUND on fridays & saturdays is where it's at. Just don't tell too many people about it! The restroom attendant is awesome!

The food here is excellent. Try the beet salad, even if you don't like beets. Calamari was also good, and happy hour prices are ver reasonable.

This place sucks... The security guys think they are secret service, and the bar tenders dont know how to keep people buying beer. In a positive the music is good.

My tip is to tip your bartender for excellent service. Also get a table if you can, much more fun to be able to move around while you dance instead of beyond stuck in the crowd.
Rude security, not raver friendly, if you're wearing kandi you will be denied entry. Worst EDM club I've ever been to. My suggestion: try Somewhere Loud.
