The park is still really nice, but they are redoing both playgrounds and basketball court. Supposed to be done in the winter of 2014

Beautiful place to stroll in the evening! Great breezes coming off the water. Grab a ferry to Oldtown Alexandria or walk further into the park. Most of the restaurants here are overpriced.
Park in the garage on K st and get a discount with your movie ticket... otherwise, walk or plan to drive a while to find a spot

This leafy park is a quiet respite from the business of M Street and provides easy access to the Canal trail as well as the Key Bridge to Rosslyn.
There's a never a time I've ran through here and not seen a pack of rats. This should be called rat park. Gross !

Our service was very, very slow, but the show was amazing! For the price ($35 ticket, $3.50 service fee, $12 table minimum and $10 to park nearby) it was well worth it!

Chesapeake & Ohio Canal is a man-made canal that starts in Georgetown and extends 185 miles upriver to Cumberland in Western Maryland. It took 22 years in 1828 for excavators to get to Cumberland.
