Have some potato soup with potatoes and cheese and potato pancakes and a side of mashed potatoes... In other words, excellent. Pierogis are a must.

The pernil torta here is a thing of beauty. The pork cutlets are like silk. Bread is soft, white, and mild with a good crust. Jalapeños-a-plenty. At $6, a torta of dreams.

The best pizza in Greenpoint hands down. Sal and the entire crew are awesome. Get the regular pie, the Grandma Pie, or the Sicilian. You can't for wrong. And they also have plenty of pasta dishes too
