The Corcoran Group: The perfect place to come for a celebration with a large group of friends - you can reserve the entire super-cool & rustic downstairs room and have a family style meal served to you and your group.
Serious Eats: Your table picks from a small selection of tasting menus that everyone participates in. The series of small, creative bites aren't perfect, but succeed more than they stumble. Good for groups.
The Corcoran Group: We LOVE the creative and unassuming "tasting-menu-meets-family-style-dining" concept here. The feast menus change seasonally, but no matter when you come, you're guaranteed an amazing (and huge) meal.
3. Sticky's Finger Joint

Fried Chicken Joint · Greenwich Village · 117 tips and reviews
Liana Lau: 3 chicken tenders + fries = totally enough. And delicious. Bada bing or caramel are both good choices
Noah Weiss: Calling these chicken fingers is almost offensive. They're the best I've ever had. $17 for 5 is a steal to split between two people. Salted caramel is required. Also, truffle fries.
Casey Soloff: Go when the owner's trashed. He's a happy drunk and gives you all kinda of free shit.
Glen Sherley: Has the best st. Louis ribs in the area. Easy to get a table and has interesting characters at the bar most nights.
The Corcoran Group: Not as stuffy or expensive as other steakhouses in the city, but just as delicious. Get the T-bone with sides of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Save room for their famous cheese cake.
Village Voice: The Village Voice voted this Best Restaurant Bar in our Best Of New York Poll!
6. Le Poisson Rouge

Rock Club · Greenwich Village · 165 tips and reviews
LeAnna Christiansen: Lots of beer on tap for a decent price. Nice sized stage, too.
Concert Ticket Agency: This has that vibe of a classic New York dance club. Great place to see a live concert as well. Clean bathrooms but the attendants can be pushy about tipping. Dress in layers...can get hot on floor!
Time Out New York: Come here for Gameshow Speakeasy, the best game night in NYC, featuring wisecracking panelists from NYC’s nightlife circuit and a famous mystery guest. Read more.
