7th.List: The place feels like a lively night downtown, circa 1958. Classics include linguine & clams, veal Parmesan, chicken scarpariello & lobster fra diavolo. Full Menu - http://goo.gl/IkIR5 Read more.
Josh B: Grab a Caesar salad, Spicy Rigatoni vodka (add the Meatballs x 3 / order), double lamb chops then Veal parm, and sizzling pancetta. You won't need dessert, but get an espresso and add sambuca
Jordan Fox: The hulking veal parm is amazing. Worth it.

The Corcoran Group: Great food, service and ambiance with lots of free starters. Try the on-the-bone Veal Parmigiana - it's the best you'll probably ever have and totally worth the high price tag.
Mark Gracia: One of the best restaurants for Italian in NYC, have never had a bad meal here. Any of the veal dishes are fantastic.
Megha Gupta: Mushroom ravioli with truffle and veal scallopini - phenomenal

Molly Le: Great intimate Italian restaurant. A great competitor to Carbone, but with a modern twist. Appetizers are very unique. Get the veal parm, PBJ foie gras, oysters, and cheese cake!
Cody Chapman: 4.5 stars. Straight winner. The lamb agnolotti and oysters and Pb&j foie donut was a cheeky treat. Cheesecake heavy classic vibes. chicken w bread crumbs baked under the skin. Espresso martinis. Wines

Caroline: veal marsala or light-as-air manicotti. Been around since 1919
Silene Lim: Nostalgic old school Italian with white table cloth, waiters with ties. We had the mesclun salad, Alfredo fettuccine and then the veal Marsala. All excellent. Highly recommend!
Maureen Duffin: Very Dean Martin in the best way possible. Love this place!

Leigh Sansone: Veal Saltimbocca Raimond is OUTSTANDING. And the pizzas are always solid. Plus, great jazz trios with no cover.
Daniel Barnett: Best veal parm, veal cacciatore, and great pizza. Live music and awesome staff.
Miguel Lopez: Old school Italian-American joint. Skip the chicken parm and go for veal parm instead. My chicken parm was once undercooked (i.e., inedible).
10. Volare

Italian Restaurant · Greenwich Village · 25 tips and reviews
Matt Crowley: Awesome location - try the veal parm on the bone - perfect. After dinner drinks a must - I recommend zambuca with coffee beans. Service is impeccable.
Tim Vetter: Atmospheric old-school red sauce joint too inconspicuous to attract tourists; a real outpost of lost NYC. Nobody orders off the menu here; trust the servers. Veal chop parmigiano is huge, delicious
Jeremy Porter: Everything is good. There's no menu, so ask for help from the friendly, talented staff - you won't be disappointed.

Bin Yang: Charming, attentive and not overbearing service. I recommend starting with some daily special apps, a pasta, then move on to the stuffed veal. Incredibly light ricotta cheesecake to finish.
Andrew C: The staff is super friendly and attentive and quick to serve... the pastas are homemade and the bolognese is tasty, yet very light, compared to other places, it tastes like pork or veal (not beef)!!
Stephanie Chang: Have the "carciofini vura" (baby artichokes) baked and serve in a light lemon sauce, you won't regret it. I also recommend Eggplant Parmigiana, so light and layers thinly sliced, great tomato sauce!
Jennifer Chonillo: The veal is fucking awesome. The pork is great too.
Elizabeth Burstein: Got feast. Loved: own vermouth cocktail, bread butter cocktail. Delicious starters and scallop taco dish. Wasnt a huge fan of carrot steak, the cold minestrone dish, and the dessert. Veal odd texture
J.R. Reed: Amazing menu - a very special dining experience
