Now a bonafide destination, hidden below street level is a new 60's style bungalow meets the hood, with a hand carved tequila bar & margarita menu to boot. Calling it a tacqueria is an injustice. Wow!
SUPER cute new neighborhood bar! Good prices. The fish and pulled pork tacos ($7/2) + guac ($4) were *amazing*. Drinks ($9) were good but tell them what kind of tequila. The house stuff was harsh.

Great bartenders who make equally great cocktails. I forget their names but I had both the mezcal & tequila (the spicy one) cocktails. Was not disappointed, food also looked amazing.
Solid cocktails—complex variations on classics as well as original recipes. Energetic spot with a more uptempo playlist.

Great guac and chips. Steak, shrimp, & mahi mahi tacos were very good too. I prefer Toloache tacos but this place is still very good. Service wasnt great since they were rushing us out.

The service was slighty slow but Lobster BLT, Maple Crusted French Toast, Truffle Macaroni & Cheese and Fresh Seasonal Fruit coupled with the ambiance made up for it. I'll definitely be back.

Lots of planning went into the creation of this locale that has changed it's name to appease the neighboring Lenox Lounge. which will relocate nearby. The café draws crowds and nights run late.

Is this a burger worth making a special trip for? Not on its own. But add a decent beer selection, reasonable prices and a different scene to the mix, and you've got something pretty special.
