Colombus Circle outpost of the East Village institution. Atmosphere feels more generic. Cold noodles and buns are favorites. Nice rotating selection of daily specials. Good for walk-ins.

The gyros and kebobs platers are huge and sooooo good. The bread is definitely made fresh and delicious.
I'm offended they don't serve tapwater.
Solid Turkish food with a quick sandwich service at lunch. We're fans of the kofte.

DO NOT COME HERE.sushi was not fresh and very low quality. The tuna had a chewy jello texture if you can imagine and when I sent it back, the manager took it back with an annoyed look and no apology.

Almond croissants are perfection. Eggs benedict or scrambled eggs from the brunch menu are great choices.

Take a trip to France without leaving NYC. What they lack in service, they make up for with delicious bistro food and fresh baked goods. Get the almond croissant or the brioche.
