Val: Twin sister restaurant to Shizen in San Francisco and just as good! They take reservations. Identical menu. Our server thought the pickled mango nigiri was exclusive b/c they make it in house.
Prateek Jain: Brussels Sprouts, Half Moon, Bean Curd Nigiri
Danie Roberson: definitely get the wedge, Pacifica and all the nigiri

nai nai: love the soft shell crab maki, hamachi nigiri, spicy ahi don (habanero masago!) & on Fridays, chicken karaage! fresher tasting fish than you'd expect for the price.
Kylie Matsumoto: Love this place! I live right down the street and I've been going for years. My favorite items: spicy tuna don with tempura (or plain), garlic chicken bento, and soba with nigiri. Never disappoints.
JNL: My FAVORITE sushi to go place. Friendly service & good food.
Rob Green: A step above Genki. Larger fish cuts on the nigiri, tastier spicy salmon and the mini dons are still huge and totally worth the money. Read more.
L Mae Lin: The salmon cuts are always worth the trip. And definitely try the oysters!! But not the clam nigiri. That thing is noooot worth it, no matter how curious you are. Sorry, Kuru! Can't be perfect.
Dress for the Date: Conveyor belt sushi with a wide delicious assortment of sushi, and cooked items. Staff is always friendly. There is good balance of quality, novelty and cost.

Sam: Japanese Asahi on draft is delicious. Ahi poke is so good. Hamburger steak is huge!
Kevin S Oshiro: It is Closed for Business. I have tried their sakes (rice wines), though (from bitter to sweet; hot to cold) in 2015.
DIÉR: Nice izakaya atmosphere, food is decent. They have a good menu. Very friendly
Nathan Kam: Great place for functions and events big and small. Friendly staff, good pricing and good food.
Jon Fia: Cigar friendly hotel. Not in the rooms but on the lanai ground level outside the bar. The servers will come out and serve you if you let them know you are out there having a cigar.
DHR.com: You can enjoy traditional Hawaiian food, authentic Japanese food and international delicacies here.
Shawn Seifert: Great food! Had Roast Beef sandwich for lunch. Came back for dinner and had scallops/shrimp with Kona coffee cheesecake for dessert. Best meals we had on the island.
Robert Belnap: Come here for brunch. Anyone can offer a good brunch, but not all venues are so isolated and seperated from the hustle and bustle. The scene heee is worth the drive in Kahala. Read more.
Janjuary L.: Sit outside and basque in the sunny breezy ocean and beautiful view.
