This is the place to go to have a good time at the end of a long week with some great drinks and amazing food. Two words... Tequila margaritas

Soups are consistently delicious and I love the vegan taco salad currently on the menu. Also missing the falafel sandwich...it was excellent with a salad set up!
The duck confit sandwich is highly recommended. Don't worry if you don't know what "confit" means! Try it.
At over $10, the sandwiches may seem pricey, but they utilize high quality ingredients and come with two excellent sides; it makes for a filling lunch or a satisfying light dinner.

If you go to an ethnic restaurant, you look for diners from that part of the world. You don't see many TexMex types here. The food is average and not as good as Escalante's across the street.
The crispy shrimp tacos are addictive, and so is the braised short ribs. A little queso, a little watermelon ceviche, then a bowl of queso to balance it out. Get a pineapple jalapeno margarita too.

The fajitas come with cheese quesadillas which are actually your tortillas for the fajitas. If you want regular tortillas just ask.
Been coming here since I was a kid! I love their burgers and salads. Can't go wrong coming here and on a nice day the patio is wonderful.

Cinnamon coffee is a must try! Also, french toast is delicious and light, not heavy or greasy. 1 slice is plenty. Hash browns are yummy.

Tasty tasty tasty, sample the tamale yummm, shrimp soup is soooo good, tarragon dressing is excitingly favorable. But the cilantro pesto is to die for!
First time here.. And love this place! Hidden on Kirby and perfect for brunch.. Buffet and bottomless mimosas. I will be coming back!
