This Fountain opened in 1965 & was known as one of the world’s largest and tallest self-contained fountains of its time. It pumps 3,500 to 6,500 gallons of water per minute reaching a height of 115ft.
The fountain is very big. You can see the skyline of downtown Jax and it is great for photos! You can also walk the Acosta Bridge which is very close to Friendship Fountain. Overall 9/10
The Riverwalk is simply beautiful and the Fountain is amazing!

It’s never the same, but it’s always fun! Great place to stroll around and admire art and murals. Lots of fun activities to do and little shops and food places to discover! Super cute.

YUM. the shakes are super thick, and the white chocolate Oreo ice cream is rad. The birthday cake ice cream has chunks of blue frosting, which my kids dig. Good stuff!
Make sure you get a free scoop of ice cream for your dog if you have one! They even put a little bone treat on top!
