The staff is fantastic and the eclectic varietals of small production joys, makes it an exploration each time. Well worth a chat with Karina for vino and Matt for spirits and the beer.
Small selection but knowledgeable staff. They hold free wine tastings on Fridays & Saturdays, and beer tastings every other Sunday.

The best cup in town uncontested, but where they really shine is service. All the staff are friendly and personal with superb taste in music. Sit back, relax, and catch some tunes and caffeine.
Yes to the parm + rigatoni plate w vodka sauce, a delicious spin with a lil spicy kick. NO to the clams casino, which is just (inflation) breadcrumbs - waste of $15.
Malt chip is my favorite flavor. Snickerdoodle is great, too. This organic ice cream shop is a nice addition to Hamilton Park.
Eat here if you want the best tasting stuff ever. It's like eating frozen unicorn tears while riding atop Robocop's broad robot shoulders. Yeah... THAT good.

A quaint little park with a fountain, chess tables, playgrounds, and a dog run. Farmers market every Saturday from 8:30a-3p mid-April through December. Outdoor films select Wednesdays in the summer.
Great fenced playground. Easy to supervise kids and turf has bouncey for kids' falls. Hit park for the summertime

I try to pick up a couple doggie bags of trash every time I go, to help out. If it weren't for the garbage this park would be beautiful.

The two west lawns are Pet Free Zones. The two south lawns are Pets Allowed. Know the difference.

Considered to have one of the best views of NYC while dining the Liberty House is located in beautiful Liberty State Park in downtown Jersey City. They also host social events and weddings.
Brilliant idea for such a food-selection starved neighborhood!... Daily rotation of trucks from 11AM-3PM M-F thru 2013
You will never get bored with the food here, because the trucks are always changing. We recommend the Schnitzel & Things Truck if you're lucky enough to catch it.

Nice park, great mini statues, you can learn some history with them, the liberty statue is nice, although I was expecting for more!! Overall , it's a must go place, one of the main symbols of NY.
If you're a runner, this place is the best for long runs - a nice flat 4-mile loop, bathrooms, easy parking, and all in the shadow (figuratively) of the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline.
Great park to set up shop and BBQ with views of the Statue of Liberty.

I honestly think it's a Lil' of an exaggeration about the fire arm. The neighborhood not that bad. Ive been going there for years and never had problems.
