Erin Best: Amazing venue, not overwhelming & enormous. Feels more intimate. Clean, well maintained, great sound quality. Just wish there were a few more restrooms for shows that run longer with intermission!
Tricia Wade: Beautiful, intimate venue that allows you to almost feel a part of the show. Close enough to the Marriott that you can walk over and have a cocktail before or after the concert.
Virginia Long: I really love the Harriman-jewell series in this intimate setting. Great acoustics, beautiful restoration. A gem for KC music lovers.

Craig Olsen: The steak entree is fit for a king. The crunchy egg starter is delicious. Everything was great there including the service. The small, intimate space serves them well.
Patty Rice: If you like sashimi, the fluke crudo appetizer is divine. And the Arctic char entree is delish. If you love trout or salmon, try it.
Allison Barbarash: End your meal with a pousse cafe aka a shot of basil to the sinuses. Worth it.

J. Finn: Don't be intimated. They will seem rude and rush you. The food is worth it tho.
Simon Kuo: This is the best Gates restaurant in the city. Try the spectacular lamb ribs-you won't find them anywhere else. Also love the burnt end sandwich and pork ribs!
Kansas City: It is tradition to be greeted by a prompt, "Hi, May I help you?" Our tip: Don't be pressured; take your time and order what you want!
Bob Specht: Spend time here, if you've got a night out in Westport. Narrow, intimate bar in front. Big patio out back. Grab an appetizer and try a Scotch or another whiskey. Solid service to back it up.
Paul Kim: Best bar in Westport if you can get a table extensive whiskey collection and as always try the horsefeather. Spicy but refreshing ginger and eye combo.
