Great coffee shop right on the edge of Thamel. It's not the cheapest at about Rs 400 for a croissant sandwich and a latte, but it is very good
World-class freshly roasted bean coffee (on the premises) with espresso as well as brewed coffee. Nice balcony with views on to the busy Tri-devi Margh. Perfect!
Excellent high quality coffee shop in Thamel with sofas, shared tables (with sockets for charging), and outdoor seating. Prices are rather on the high side but it is worth it.

Local favourite, nothing fancy but serving some of the best pastries in town. The white forest-chocolate snap combination is to die for. Flavourful brown bread. Nice cakes for special occasions.

It is called brownie but it is actually a cake however worth trying. The real hit is a bulletproof coffee shot - very aromatic local flavour with a nice butter infusion. Lovely owner.
Coffee tofu burger
Food was rather lousy. Eggs benedict was average and chicken bacon burger was very oily and the fried egg is totally brown and crispy and so the potatoes:). Coffee was ok, very big cup of mocha.
