If you are lucky enough to be here when the ocean fresh Pacific Halibut is on offer by all means get it. And have the Lumberyard House Chardonnay to go with. The best!

My favorite of Cohen's places. Don't overlook the pickled beets with goat cheese brûlée in the appetizer section. Slow cooked lamb is also very nice.

Deck Tacos are amazing, as well as the bread! Staff is incredibly friendly. Lovely homey vibe inside the restaurant, and beautiful view outside. Expect long waits (90+ min) on weekend nights...!
Go for the cabanas... There's a small minimum charge to meet, but you get a giant private space and if you have a small dinner party they will even put out a private table for you right on the deck
If you are chilly, ask for a blanket!

There's a funny thing that happens about 930 or 10 o'clock at this bar, it shockingly empties out... which leaves you the most pristine OC location possible all to yourself.

They have no REAL hours beware. They close when they want regardless of hours. I've been turned away several times 10 min before "closing" time. Ridiculous and unprofessional.
Delicious! 79 is amazing, the strawberry at the end is so refreshing and a nice twist. They don't have saki bombs on the menu but you can order them and make them yourself! Cheers!

After reading some of the post I might have to go back. I was not impressed. Maybe I'll do as Andrea does, ask to be surprised.
Definitely get the banana bread pudding. It's so delicious! The vanilla bean ice cream is a great accompaniment to the pudding.
