Tried the goat cheese, black beans, and plantain empanada. Still delicious, but the sirloin one I had before is still the best. The empanadas seem larger this time than my last visit though. Props!

Beef acebolado, Rice is tasty, beef marinated very well. Steak mini bowl, All the flavours corm together nicely in the bowl. Brigadeiro for desert is lovely.

Food's really gone downhill, u can tell my whole dish was nuked. Beans on plate completely dried out, rice was hard, plantain enchiladas EXTREMELY hot, hotter than if fresh made. Not busy at all.
One of the best Mexican places in all Chicago. Pitcher of margaritas out in the sidewalk seating is great on a warm day.

Being from California, I do appreciate really good Mexican food... dinner here was FANTASTIC! I had their special carne asada plate... it was to die for!

Food was good, not great. Chicken fajitas cooked well with seasoning. Sodas were waaaay under carbonated. So basically syrup. PLUS - they don't honor their foursquare special after you check-in!
Fresh housemade chips and delicious salsa, a killer tequila list (if that's your thing) and creative dishes (plus all the ones you'd expect). Try the Sopes Oaxaquenos appetizer, you won't be sorry!

BEST tamal I ever had in my life. It had peanuts in it!!! Creamy Garlic Ajo Shrimp was my choice & shared Lomo Saltado (though the french fries are frozen out of a bag). Caramel Cookie for dessert!!!
Historical fact - this location was a speakeasy during the prohibition era. See if you can find the trap door in the stalls of the men's bathroom!

Ribs are nice and tender. Bbq sauce is sweet. The waffle and chicken slider is the BOMB!! I also loved the fresh homemade split pea soup.

This is a true hidden gem. Best fish tacos I've ever had, anywhere, including California and Mexico. Hard to believe given its location. If you're gluten free, be prepared to cry yourself to sleep.
