Aled Jones: Wonderful old school pub. Beautifully kept bitters, great service, wonderful balcony overlooking the river. An absolute delight. Food (upstairs) is also good.
Natalie Clarke: Super tiny and cosy pub right next to the Thames. Lovely little deck out the back which has great views of the river and city skyline. It gets busy so arrive early if you want a seat.
HISTORY UK: This pub was built in 1720 on the site of an older tavern. As a boy Charles Dickens, who used to visit his godfather who lived nearby, was made to stand on a table and sing to the patrons.

Max: Micro brewery in the White Building. Great IPAs, Bitters and Stouts and good selection of international craft beers. Relax on the terrace next to River Lea and enjoy their fantastic pizza.
