Yikes most reviews claim this is authentic Mexican. Al pastor has 1/8 of the flavor of what you’d find in California/Mexico. Passes as edible. Plus is freshly made tortillas which they are so proud of
Order a sopa de tortilla as a starter, start your taco safari with the Al Pastó. Show off and put a dot of the el diablo sauce on a taco, then double down with the del vic.
Amazing place, the best authentic Mexican food I have had in the UK, the tacos “Al Pastor” are really good, the quesadilla with the blue corn tortilla and the Cheese takes me back to MX in seconds.
Nitrite best in London, but good. Tortilla down the road is cheaper, but has tough steak so stear clear. Best ones I've had are steak on exmouth Market. Pork and chicken are equal all over islington.
Nice upstairs area to sit in, but a mediocre burrito and they had no guacamole!! I much prefer tortilla just up the road to be honest.

The Padron peppers are to die for. Let's not forget the 'tortilla' and the 'pork belly' though, they are amazing too. Get the full experience with a bottle of their house red 'Borsao'. 10/10

Overpriced but quite good. Be sure to try 'The meatball' - very juicy and rich, and iberico loin. Tortilla is served cold here.

The staff are always super friendly, the food is wonderful, there's always a good energy. The staples are pan con tomate, jamon, chorizo al vino, padron peppers, and tortilla. Great wines/sherry too!
They rotate the style of croquetas & tortillas often, but the squid ink w/ squid meat croquetas were to die for. Good wine list, decent service. Definitely gets crowded: was packed by 12:30 on Tues.
Wow. The #1 tapas rating and huge crowds hanging around outside don’t lie. I went as a solo diner and got lucky. The fried goat’s cheese + honey was heaven. Tortilla superb. Superb service 👏
